International Association of  Transportation Infrastructure (INTATI)

Founded in 1995, the International Association of Transportation Infrastructure (INTATI) is a non-profit, non-governmental academic organization dedicated to advancing research, knowledge exchange, and professional collaboration in the field of transportation infrastructure. INTATI brings together researchers, engineers, policymakers, and industry professionals from around the world to promote innovation and sustainable development in transportation infrastructure.

 

 

The Executive Committee (2026–2028)

The First Executive Committee of INTATI was established in 2026. It consists of internationally recognized scholars and experts from leading universities and research institutions worldwide. Academic Senate

The Academic Senate is the highest academic advisory and honorific body of the Association.

Secretariat Office 

The Secretariat Office is the permanent administrative body responsible for daily operations, membership services, external relations, publications, and coordination of Association affairs.

Governance Structure

INTATI adopts a governance structure consisting of the Executive Committee,  Academic Senate, Secretariat Office, and Technical Committees.

(1) Executive Committee

The Executive Committee is the principal governing body responsible for the overall management, operation, and strategic implementation of the Association.

It oversees the Association’s daily affairs, academic activities, membership management, financial administration, external cooperation, regular awards, and the execution of strategic decisions.

The Executive Committee is elected according to the bylaws, with a standard term of two years. It consists of the President, Vice President(s), Secretary-General, Executive Chair, and other elected members. Members may serve consecutive terms as defined in the bylaws.

The Executive Committee has full authority over routine operations, event organization, budget execution, organizational development, and administrative decision-making.

(2) Academic Senate

The Academic Senate is the highest academic advisory and honorific body of the Association.

It is composed of distinguished scholars and senior experts who have made outstanding contributions to transportation infrastructure and related disciplines.

Membership in the Academic Senate is granted based on academic excellence, professional achievements, and significant contributions to the field. Members serve for life upon appointment.

The Academic Senate provides strategic academic guidance, nominates and approves Fellows of the Association, and confers Lifetime Achievement Awards. Its decisions regarding academic honors and recognitions are final.

(3) Secretariat Office

The Secretariat Office is the permanent administrative body of the Association.

It is responsible for daily operations, membership services, external relations, academic activities, publications, communications, and coordination of the Association’s affairs.

The Secretariat Office supports the Executive Committee, Academic Senate, and Technical Committees in implementing organizational strategies and ensuring effective operations.
