On August 16-17, the 8th China-Europe Workshop on Functional Pavement (CEW) was held in Weihai. More than 80 experts and scholars from over 20 countries and regions at home and abroad, as well as 53 top universities, focused on "Future Security, Smart and Resilient Pavement" and shared the latest research results and innovative ideas.

On July 3, 2023, the 7th China Europe Functional Pavement Academic Symposium CEW2023 was grandly opened in Birmingham, UK. Our university sent 9 full-time teachers and multiple students from the School of Transportation and ITS Research Center to participate.
