The 8th China-Europe Workshop on Functional Pavement was held in Weihai, China, from August 16 to 17, 2025. More than 80 experts and scholars from over 20 countries and regions and 53 leading universities gathered under the theme “Safe, Smart and Resilient Pavements” to share the latest research findings and innovative ideas.

The 7th China-Europe Workshop on Functional Pavement was held in Birmingham, UK, from July 3 to 4, 2023. Nine faculty members and several students from the School of Transportation and the ITS Research Center participated in the workshop.
