International Association of  Transportation Infrastructure (INTATI)

Founded in 1995, the International Association of Transportation Infrastructure (INTATI) is a non-profit, non-governmental academic organization aimed at researchers, engineers, policy makers, and industry practitioners in the field of transportation infrastructure worldwide.

 

 

Bylaws

Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 Name

The name of the Association is International Association of Transportation Infrastructure (INTATI), hereinafter referred to as the “Association”.

Article 2 Registered Address

The Association was established in Germany and currently maintains offices/representative offices in Germany and Hong Kong, China.

The Association may establish offices, representative offices, or other affiliated entities in other countries or regions as necessary.

Article 3 Nature

The Association is an international, non-profit academic organization voluntarily formed by individuals and institutions worldwide engaged in scientific research, technological development, engineering construction, talent cultivation, policy making, and other activities related to transportation infrastructure.

Article 4 Purpose

The purpose of the Association is to promote innovation, strengthen international cooperation, cultivate outstanding talent, and serve societal needs. The Association is committed to advancing the safe, intelligent, sustainable, and resilient development of global transportation infrastructure and enhancing its contribution to the well-being of people worldwide.

Article 5 Working Languages

The official working languages of the Association shall be English. 

Chapter 2 Scope of Activities

Article 6 Scope of Activities

1.The scope of activities of the Association includes, but is not limited to, the following:

2.Conducting academic and theoretical research in the field of transportation infrastructure and promoting interdisciplinary integration;

3.Organizing international conferences, specialized forums, symposiums, workshops, and other academic exchange activities on a regular basis;

4.Publishing international academic journals, scholarly books, conference proceedings, and research reports;

5.Developing and promoting industry standards, technical specifications, and guidelines related to transportation infrastructure;

6.Establishing and maintaining global networks and databases of experts, scholars, and professionals in the transportation infrastructure field;

7.Initiating and supporting international collaborative projects and cross-border research cooperation;

8.Establishing Association awards to recognize individuals and teams that have made outstanding contributions to transportation infrastructure;

9.Cultivating young professionals and researchers in transportation infrastructure and promoting the integration of academia, industry, research, and practice;

10.Providing professional training and continuing education services for members;

11.Conducting scientific and technological assessments, professional evaluations, and consulting services;

12.Promoting public outreach and science communication activities to enhance public understanding of transportation infrastructure;

13.Safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of members in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
