The Technical Committees encompass 15 specialized bodies organized under four divisions. Each TC defines its scope in both English and Chinese, and outlines a non-exhaustive set of focus areas spanning environment-driven infrastructure, climate resilience, urban high-density systems, remote and offshore challenges, asset management, low-carbon strategies, digitalisation and smart infrastructure, construction innovation, geotechnics and materials, and multimodal integration. Together, the TCs coordinate research agendas, set technical standards, foster international collaboration, and guide knowledge transfer to practice, accelerating safe, sustainable, and resilient transport infrastructure worldwide.
