INTATI has established the "Outstanding Contribution Award for Transportation Infrastructure" series of awards, aimed at recognizing individuals, teams, or institutions who have made outstanding contributions in the field of transportation infrastructure worldwide, and promoting innovation and development in the transportation infrastructure industry.

The award is selected once a year and presented at the annual conference of the association.

Nominees must be at least 65 years of age by the end of the nomination year. They should have a minimum of 30 years of active involvement in the field, possessing a universally recognized track record of exemplary professional achievements and profound global influence.

INTATI Outstanding Research Award

Conferred upon brilliant scholars or dynamic research teams who have achieved groundbreaking theoretical or methodological breakthroughs in transportation infrastructure.
It aims to discover, celebrate, and globally promote major research contributions that fundamentally drive the evolution of related academic disciplines.
Special emphasis is placed on research that pioneers new paradigms in smart construction, green technologies, and digital maintenance.

Nominees must have produced research outcomes with highly significant international impact. The research must be validated through high-impact peer-reviewed publications, extensive citations, or recognized international patents, demonstrating a clear transformation of the academic landscape.

INTATI Excellence in Application Award

Awarded to individuals, collaborative teams, or organizations that have successfully translated innovative technologies into major engineering practices.
This award focuses on the practical application of cutting-edge research, highlighting projects that yield substantial economic, environmental, or social benefits.
It champions the integration of sustainable materials, solid waste utilization, and resilient engineering solutions in real-world scenarios.

The nominated project must be fully completed and operational, with verifiable data proving its practical effectiveness and societal impact. The solution should also demonstrate potential for scalability and industry-wide adoption.

INTATI Young Scientist Award

Designed to recognize and empower outstanding young scholars and engineers who exhibit extraordinary research potential, innovative thinking, and leadership.
The award serves as a catalyst to motivate emerging talents to dedicate their careers to crucial scientific research and technological innovation within the transportation infrastructure sector.
It highlights individuals who are already shaping the future of the industry through fresh perspectives and dynamic approaches.

Nominees must not exceed 40 years of age by the end of the nomination year. They must demonstrate a proven track record of independent research, leading significant projects, or publishing highly acclaimed original work.

INTATI Best PhD Dissertation Award

Celebrates the most innovative, rigorous, and practically valuable doctoral dissertations completed in the field of transportation infrastructure.
This award seeks to unearth top-tier young academic talents and propel the development of frontier disciplines.
It honors dissertations that successfully bridge complex theoretical concepts with actionable engineering solutions.

The dissertation defense must have been successfully passed within two years prior to the nomination deadline. The nomination usually requires a recommendation letter from the doctoral supervisor or the degree-granting institution, highlighting the work's originality and academic rigor.

INTATI International Collaboration Award

Granted to individuals or cross-border teams that have made outstanding contributions through international collaborative projects in transportation infrastructure.
It aims to highlight successful models of transnational cooperation, promoting open sharing of knowledge, resources, and technologies.
The award advocates for global synergy in addressing shared challenges such as carbon neutrality and climate-resilient infrastructure.

The nominated project must involve substantive, verifiable collaboration between entities from at least two different countries or regions. Evidence of joint outcomes, such as co-authored publications, joint patents, or co-developed international standards, is required.

INTATI Best Paper Award

Awarded to authors of high-quality research papers published in academic journals or conferences hosted, sponsored, or officially recognized by INTATI.
Selecting 1 to 3 exceptional papers annually, this award incentivizes the production and dissemination of top-tier academic literature.
It rewards clarity, methodological rigor, and profound insights that align with the association's core missions of intelligent, green, and resilient development.

The paper must have been published within the current calendar year in designated INTATI-affiliated journals or conference proceedings. It must pass a rigorous evaluation by the award committee regarding its innovation, academic contribution, and practical relevance.

INTATI Institutional Excellence Award

Honors universities, research institutes, enterprises, or industry associations that have made outstanding holistic contributions to the transportation infrastructure sector.
It recognizes institutions that excel in driving technological progress, cultivating top-tier talent, formulating crucial industry standards, and demonstrating exceptional industry leadership.
The award highlights organizations that actively promote multidisciplinary integration and sustainable practices.

The nominated institution must demonstrate sustained investment and significant, quantifiable achievements in transportation infrastructure over a period of at least five years. Evidence of broad industry recognition and societal contribution is mandatory.

INTATI Special Contribution Award

An ad-hoc honor awarded to individuals or groups who have made extraordinary contributions to the transportation infrastructure cause under specific, unique, or critical circumstances.
This may include exceptional efforts in disaster relief infrastructure recovery, groundbreaking policy advocacy, or massive philanthropic support for the industry.

Conferred irregularly based on emerging situations. Nominations require detailed documentation of the specific event or circumstance and the profound, immediate impact of the nominee's exceptional contribution.
