International Association of Transportation Infrastructure (INTATI)
Founded in 1995, the International Association of Transportation Infrastructure (INTATI) is a non-profit, non-governmental academic organization dedicated to advancing research, knowledge exchange, and professional collaboration in the field of transportation infrastructure. INTATI brings together researchers, engineers, policymakers, and industry professionals from around the world to promote innovation and sustainable development in transportation infrastructure.
Membership Rights and Obligations
Membership Rights
• The right to vote, to be elected, and to participate in decision-making through voting, with the specific voting rights of Institutional Members and Student Members to be separately determined by the Council;
• The right to make suggestions and supervise the work of the Association;
• Priority access to international academic conferences, seminars, training programs, and other activities organized by the Association;
• Preferential or free access to academic journals, research reports, and academic materials published by the Association;
• Priority opportunities to publish papers in the Association’s partner journals or apply for special issues;
• The right to nominate candidates for, or apply for, various awards established by the Association;
• Access to exclusive services and resources provided by the Association.
Membership Obligations
• To comply with the Constitution of the Association and implement its resolutions;
• To safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the Association and refrain from damaging its reputation;
• To pay membership fees as required;
• To assist the Association in academic exchange, talent recommendation, science popularization, and other related activities;
• To provide accurate personal information and update it in a timely manner.
Application Procedure
Applications for INTATI membership are accepted throughout the year.
Step 1: Complete the membership application form in English and submit the required personal or institutional information together with the relevant supporting documents. The completed application form and supporting documents should be sent by email to info@intati.org.
Step 2: The Secretariat shall complete the eligibility review within 10 working days and provide feedback on the preliminary review result.
Step 3: Upon passing the preliminary review, the application materials shall be submitted to the Council for review and approval.
Step 4: After paying the applicable membership fee, the applicant shall officially become a member of INTATI and receive an electronic or printed membership certificate.
Application for Fellow
- Fellows are senior experts and scholars who have made significant contributions to the field of transportation infrastructure and enjoy an established international reputation.
- Fellows are nominated and elected by the Council.
- Fellows are exempt from membership fees.
Application for Senior Membership
- Senior Members should hold a doctoral degree or hold the title of associate professor, senior engineer, or above. They should have strong academic achievements or outstanding technical contributions in the field of transportation infrastructure, with at least five years of relevant professional experience.
- Applicants for Senior Membership should be recommended by two existing Senior Members or members of the Council.
- Eligible applicants may currently apply for Senior Membership with the membership fee fully waived. This fee waiver is available for a limited time only.
Application for Regular Membership
- Regular Members are professionals engaged in transportation infrastructure or related fields. Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree or above or possess a junior professional title or above.
- Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae and a statement of application.
- Eligible applicants may currently apply for Regular Membership with the membership fee fully waived. This fee waiver is available for a limited time only.
Application for Student Membership
- Student Members are currently registered undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral students majoring in transportation infrastructure or related fields.
- Applicants should submit a copy of a valid student ID and proof of enrollment.
- Student Membership is free of charge.
Application for Institutional Membership
- Institutional members include enterprises, public institutions, research institutes, universities, and social organizations engaged in transportation infrastructure or related fields. The membership application should be submitted by the legal representative or an authorized representative of the institution.
- Institutional Members are entitled to benefits including preferential access to INTATI events and academic resources, participation in relevant Technical Committees and professional activities, institutional visibility through INTATI platforms, and other privileges corresponding to their membership level.
- The annual membership fee for Institutional Members ranges from €2,000 to €10,000, depending on the membership level.
